SSEN:MMH is a statewide, multi-located school for WA public and non-government school students, inclusive of Kindergarten to Year 12 and Education Support. SSEN:MMH support over 5000 students annually. The school provides continuity of education to students whose medical or mental health prevents them from participating in their enrolling school program and facilitates return to their enrolling school or a suitable alternative program that meets their ongoing needs.
Staff apply the school's Liaise-Educate-Transition-Support (LETS) model to connect supports around the learner and uphold every student’s right to education within a supportive learning environment. Relationships with parents, enrolling schools, health teams and inter-agency partners are integral to reducing the gap in attendance, connectedness, engagement and achievement experienced by students with health needs, and achieving SSEN: MMH’s vision for students to Connect, Learn and Thrive.
